The Techdays' scoops

For concluding with the crop of articles about Techdays, here are some scoops we got.
First of all, the announce of Project MinWin, acronym for Minimum Windows. With this project, Microsoft hope to make lighter the new Windows Server by separating internet explorer from the other Windows Server's applications. By doing this, that will let enterprises install just what is useful for each of them.
The second announce which was not the big one is the effective release of Silverlight 2.0, the new version of the Microsoft's technology, contestant of adobe FlashPlayer. The new version will enable users to have access to new functionnalities by building their applications with .NET and related languages.

SQL Server is right now at the beta release 3 version, and Microsoft hope to release the final version few months after the release of the two other big hits of this year, scheduled for february 27th: Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server 2008.  
Last news, specially for students that are using MSDNAA. Visual Studio Express 2008 is now available in french on the platform.
