J'ai récemment lu un article plus qu'intéressant sur Yahoo! Finance, qui décrivait le meilleur moment de l'année pour acheter un article en fonction de sa catégorie.



Pour commencer, parlons de l'actualité du moment, les clubs de gym. La meilleure période pour souscrire des abonnements semble être Juin (trop tard donc, pour les retardataires :).


En effet, les clubs de gym reçoivent le plus de souscriptions en début d'année (nouvelles résolutions oblige), avant que les affaires ne stagnent pendant le printemps et l'été. C'est donc dans cette période que vous pourrez obtenir un abonnement mensuel au plus bas, ou les frais d'inscription gratuits.



Deuxième catégorie d'articles, les voyages. La meilleure période est sans trop de surprise la rentrée, c'est à dire septembre. Il semblerait aussi que le jour le moins cher de la semaine pour voyager soit le mercredi.


Concernant les appareils photos, vous ferez les meilleures affaires en janvier/février, pour la simple raison que c'est la période qui suit les grands salons internationaux du secteur tels que le CES (Consumer Electronic Show) de Las Vegas, qui annoncent donc l'arrivage de nouveaux modèles sur les étagères des marchands. Vous pourrez donc avoir les appareils un peu moins récents à bon prix.





















Autre catégorie intéressante, les ordinateurs. C'est en décembre que vous ferez les meilleures affaires, avec des promotions pouvant aller jusqu'à une imprimante gratuite.

Maintenant vous savez tout, et vous aurez compris qu'il y a au moins une chose que vous pourrez demander au père noël cette année avec un peu plus d'espoir...

Here comes this time of the year again, when i feel that my phone is getting old. I skimmed through the different offers from Htc, Motorola, Apple, Blackberry, and i just kept 2 phones in mind for the moment: Blackberry Curve 8520 and Motorola i9.


The Blackberry Curve is the phone that could make me fastly forget my motorola Razr V2.
The official release date is August 5th. The only problem: lack of 3G. In spite of that, I think that just for the design, functionalities and the embedded traditional keyboard, i could live with that...

P.S: Quick news: RIM released version 1.1 of App world, the rival of App Store from Apple.







The Motorola i9 got less enterprise oriented functionalities, but it's the choice of heart there. I already spent more than a year with my Razr V2, and choosing i9, that is part of Razr family, will just be to confirm my undivided love for Motorola, although i really think that they need to change designers, because apart V9, the other phones from the U.S. brand are less appealing.


Finally, i didn't choose Iphone 3GS in my selection, simply because of its success. "Everybody" got an Iphone nowadays. That's my small megalomaniac part, i love having unique stuffs. I'm sure a lot of people are following me there.

Nevertheless I bought Ipod Touch recently, to take advantage of the App store and its applications. Apple did a great job on user interface, and Iphone is definitely the best of the kind (Update: with or after Pré).

I'm wondering how i did forget Palm Pré. It's just a killer phone. It's more than an alternative to Iphone.

My favorite features are the built-in camera, the wonderful resolution (same as iPhone, but more beautiful) due to the screen's size. Plus, new applications are coming fast on the new platform.

The phone is available since the 5th of June mainly at Sprint for the U.S.

After a long break, I mean, Internship at SAP and then going back to school :), I'm back for the best.

During his presentation the 05th of May in my school Polytech'Nice-Sophia, Richard Stalman argue about the fact that people are wrongly calling "Linux", the OS he helped to create, instead of Gnu/Linux. 


He thinks that people have forgotten that at the beginning, the free OS project was part of the Gnu Project that he leaded with other people during more than 10 years.

Hé oui, même les box ne pouvaient échapper au standard des bases de données; mais du coup, c'est super facile pour un simple utilisateur de comprendre les erreurs, lol.
